Candidate will be placed in the PCU that most closely matches their work history and that has the greatest need. Candidate will know which PCU they are going to before accepting the position. Some units are mixed acuity - PCU and Tele. NO RTO accepted. Candidate will work 4 of 6 holidays (Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years day) to be chosen by the manager of the unit. Start and end shift times: 1845-0715 Lunch ( ½ hr, 1 hr, 2 hr, etc): 1/2 hr Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:3-1:6 (typically 1:4) varies depending on staffing/acuity Use of Ancillary staff: Yes Does supplemental staff float: Yes EPIC Documentation
