BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred, Coronary Care Certificate optional but SCU/CCU experience required
Special care unit: up to (4) patients; may have medicated IV drip; BiPAP/CPAP/airvo/rare vent.
Patient population: 1 year to >90.
RN ratio: Acuity dependent 1:3 or 4 (inc MS/rehab patient) Vent: 1:1.
No on-call.
Common patient diagnosis: RAF, r/o MI, DKA, non-STEMI, PE, COVID pneumonia, CHF, post op general surgery, CVA deemed without intervention, rare chest tube, rare CVP monitoring, wound vacs.
