4-10 hour days Under general supervision of the Medical Director and department leader, the technologist will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders and promote optimal outcomes for individual patients. The Sleep Clinic Technologist will analyze polysomnographic data, prepare detailed reports, and serve as an educator and resource person on sleep/arousal disorders and positive airway pressure to patients and their family, the community, and other health care providers. The technologist will provide community education through formal programs and participation in Genesis sponsored community wellness/information fairs. This individual will support Sleep Center marketing activities through physician office visits and web page maintenance. Will support quality patient care by incorporating research evidence into practice, and participating in professional growth opportunities and adherence to Genesis policies, American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) standards, and Genesis Standards of Behavior.
